A NEW Worcester arts production company is holding a series of practical one-day art workshops.
Sessions on dramatic writing, visual arts and music composition will be among the workshops being held by Artworcs this month.
Local playwright Lance Woodman will host a dramatic writing workshop for beginners called 'Making a Scene' on Tuesday, August 19.
'Compose Yourself' (Wednesday, August 20) is a chance for children and adults to express themselves through an original piece of their own music, led by Andy Watts.
'Something from Nothing', a sculpture session held by Sheila Farrell (Friday, August 22) includes the creation of sculptures using everyday objects.
Sessions range from £10 to £25 per person with details on www.artworcs. ukartists.com
The other workshops are 'What is Drawing?' (Thursday, August 21), an exploration into the various techniques available led by Sheila Farrell and 'Writing on Air' (Saturday, August 23), writing a play for radio led by Peter Leslie Wild.
