THE Nomads 2nd XI didn't get far into the match at Bransford, only managing to bowl nine overs at their visitors after having posted a target of 223 from a reduced 43 overs.

Nomads opening partnership between Bland and Finbow saw 178 on the board, before Finbow fell for 50. Chris Bland duly completed an excellent century, making 109, including some fine driving through the covers and square of the wicket. Liam O'Driscoll found time to make an unbeaten 25 as Nomads finished on 220-2.
After an early tea and a break of nearly one and a half hours, Cookley finally took to the crease, and lost Cartwright clean bowled to Dominic Harris, but again the weather proved too much, with Cookley finishing on 15-1 as the rain worsened.
