JOHN Bickerton and David Park both failed to make the cut at the Scandinavian Masters golf tournament in Malmo, Sweden.
Droitwich's Bickerton shot a 76 to end the second round on five over par, while Hereford's Park was one shot better off following a 74.
Luke Donald, meanwhile. is targeting his first European Tour title in only his second event. Donald has already won on the US Tour after a superb amateur career which saw him win seven points out of a possible eight in two victorious Walker Cup appearances.
However, this week's £1.3million event is just his second regular event on the European circuit after debuting in the Irish Open at Portmarnock.
It has not stopped the talented 25-year-old from claiming a share of second place going into today's third round, just three shots behind his former Walker Cup team-mate Nick Dougherty.
Dougherty, who ironically partnered Donald to his only Walker Cup loss at Sea Island in 2001, lies eight under par after rounds of 67 and 69.
