A MURDER investigation has been launched by police after the man who was allegedly assaulted inside Sainsbury's distribution centre in Worcester, died from his injuries in hospital.
A youth was remanded in custody following the alleged assault at the Wainwright Road depot, Warndon, at around 11.15am on Tuesday.
He was charged with grievous bodily harm and appeared before Worcester Youth Court on Wednesday.
As the deceased man's next of kin have yet to be informed, formal identification has not been completed and his details can not at this stage be released.
