WORCESTER Rugby Club complete their pre-season preparations tonight when Premiership champions Wasps visit Sixways for their final friendly (7.30).
Wasps, who beat Gloucester in the championship play-off at the end of last season, are sending a strong side captained by Welsh international scrum-half Rob Howley and also containing England full-back Tom Voice, and a big crowd is expected.
National One title favourites Worcester will make a handful of changes to the side that lost 33-19 to the combined Neath-Swansea team in their last friendly.
Sixways Director of Operations Mike Robins said: "Wasps will certainly be taking it very seriously because they are playing Harlequins next week.
"We have had a graduated run-in and this will be a real test for the lads prior to going into the season proper at Otley next week." Wasps flanker Paul Volley said: "Worcester are a very strong side and will offer us the perfect pre-season game."
Worcester: Roke; O'Leary, Trueman, Officer, Garrard; Hayes, Swanepoel; Windo, Daly, Lyman, Gabey, Gillies, Bates, Hickey, Thomas.
