THE implications of the redevelopment of Malvern's North Site will be spelled out to councillors next week.
Malvern Hills District Council and Worcestershire County Council will be giving a presentation on the likely impact on services of the redevelopment.
This takes place at a meeting of the Malvern Area Joint Councillor Forum on Monday (September 1), at Priory Lodge Hall, Avenue Road, at 7pm.
The presentation follows discussions on areas like education and social services. Detailed talks over the future shape of the redundant army base have been on-going between the council and the Ministry of Defence for around five years.
Up to 600 new homes could be earmarked for the site and there have already been discussions about extending Dyson Perrins CE High School to cope with the extra pupils and increasing capacity at primary schools.
Also under discussion will be the Home Zone project on the Royal estate in Malvern Link.
