ADRIAN Skeggs has admitted he fears losing Andy Higgins to a Premiership club if Worcester do not win promotion this season.
The Sixways director of coaching is aware of a number of top clubs vying for the 19-year-old's signature as he is out of contract in the summer.
Skeggs, who takes his table-toppers to Bedford tomorrow (3pm), believes it would be difficult to stand in Higgins' way if Worcester do not go up.
He said: ""He wants to play at the top level and if we do not make it, it would be very difficult to stand in his way of moving clubs because we don't want to hold him back.
"We obviously want to re-sign him because of his great potential. One of my main aims as Worcester coach is to get Andy in the full England side."
