WORCESTERSHIRE Royals will be without Steve Rhodes for tomorrow's Norwich Union League Division One clash with bottom-of-the-table Nottinghamshire Outlaws at Trent Bridge.
The long-serving wicketkeeper aggravated a recently-recovered thigh injury while batting during the current Frizzell County Championship Division Two match with Notts.
He is already being rated as having only a '50-50' chance of being available to play in Worcestershire's final Championship game of the season which opens at New Road on Wednesday against Derbyshire. His place behind the stumps tomorrow will be taken by James Pipe.
To stand any chance of winning the league Worcestershire have to win their last two matches of the campaign and table-topping Glamorgan Dragons must lose their remaining couple of games. The New Road club are currently six points behind Glamorgan.
