Horse lovers should prepare to be dazzled as Europe's largest touring equestrian show comes to Malvern.
Spirit of the Horse is a lavish production, featuring an international cast of riders, dancers and performers from Russia, Argentina, Spain and Ireland, not to mention the 30 horses from all over the world.
Directed by entertainment organiser Phillip Gandey and equestrian presenter Nikki Fossett, the two-hour show involves music, dance and verse. It takes place in a 2,000 seat Equestrian Touring Theatre, based at the Three Counties Showground.
The show is dedicated to the grace, beauty and agility of the horse and explores the relationship between horse and man, in work, play and legend.
Daredevil Russian horsemen will perform stunts on horses galloping at speeds up to 25mph. Spanish riders, led by Antonio Perez, will demonstrate their skills during a series of displays including Dance of the Garrocha.
Nikki Fossett will lead a choreographed display starring eight Arabian stallions. European comedy artist Suso, will provide the humour, and Silver, an Irish stallion with a wicked sense of humour, will entertain the crowds.
After each performance, the audience can visit the stars of the show in the specially-designed stable pavilion. The show runs from Thursday, November 20, to Sunday, November 23, at 5pm and 8pm on Thursday and Friday, 2pm, 5pm and 8pm on Saturday and 2.30m and 6pm on Sunday.
