POLICE are seeking information after a taxi driver was robbed in Redditch on Saturday morning.
He picked up a man walking along the A38 towards Bromsgrove near the Forest pub at about 3.55am.
The man told the taxi driver he had been to the Marlgrove club and then visited friends.
He made a call which he told the taxi driver was to his girlfriend asking her to wait up for him.
The driver took him to the Oakenshaw area and stopped opposite Paddock Lane.
The taxi driver told the man how much the fare was and then went to get his wallet where he kept his money.
As the driver turned back, his door was opened and a second man took the keys out of the ignition with one hand and held him back with the other.
He demanded the driver hand over his wallet and the passenger took his mobile phone.
The men walked off towards Coldfield Drive and threw the man's keys back towards the car. They escaped with £200 and a Nokia phone.
The passenger is described as white, in his mid to late 20s, about 5ft 10ins tall of stocky build with brown hair and clean shaven.
He was smartly dressed wearing a dark-coloured, heavy, knee length overcoat, dark trousers and shoes.
The second man was white, aged about 30 with fair, short hair in a crew cut style and about 6ft tall. He was wearing a zip-up, dark beige bomber jacket.
Officers want to speak to anyone who was in the Marlgrove club on Friday night or anyone who recognises the descriptions. They should call DC Mike Allen at Bromsgrove police on 08457 444 888.
