STAFF at the Alexandra Hospital are being surveyed along with other Worcestershire health staff as part of the first national NHS staff survey undertaken in England.
Some 850 questionnaires have been sent out to workers.
Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust human resources director Jeff Crawshaw said: "Although we survey our staff annually, this is part of a national initiative which will enable us to compare ourselves to other similar NHS organisations.
"These surveys are an important part of our work to find out what changes our staff would like to see in their working lives and what sort of personal development opportunities they would like to have."
The survey includes areas such as team working, leadership and balance between work life and social life.
