DEAR EDITOR -- I catch the 7.23am train from Bromsgrove railway station to Birmingham New Street most mornings.
A couple of months ago I wrote to Central Trains asking them to explain why most mornings we only have two carriages.
I was told this was only temporary as the carriages were being serviced and that we should see an improvement within the next few weeks.
This was in May when I wrote to them, and we had been experiencing this problem for two years before. We are still having problems and there are still only two carriages and each morning they are overcrowded.
One morning this week was particularly bad and myself, and other passengers, are getting increasingly fed up with being fobbed off with excuses for lack of carriages.
I would appreciate a response from Central Trains or someone who can give me an honest answer as to why we still don't have enough carriages and why at other times of the day at off-peak times a train turns up with about five or six carriages either travelling from Birmingham New Street to Bromsgrove or vice-versa.
I feel I've been very patient over the last two years sinces moving to Bromsgrove but have now had enough of poor travelling conditions and continually being fobbed off.
It would be wonderful to have some response, perhaps a positive feedback from Central Trains, after waiting so long.
