DEAR EDITOR - I should like to complain and ask why a company advertising "Handmade Three Piece Suites Aston Fields" has been allowed to put up bright yellow posters on every traffic light in the whole of our area and also on many lampposts in between.
This is an eyesore. Were everyone allowed to advertise in this manner, what a mess it would be.
Drivers have quite enough signs to observe to keep to the law without these unsightly distractions.
I have sent a copy of this letter to Bromsgrove District Council as I feel sure I am not the only one who feels this way.
I trust these items will be removed as soon as possible.
