THIGH-slapping pantomime magic will be brought to a village near Bromsgrove this weekend.
The Chaddesley Amateur Theatrical Society (CATS) is staging family favourite Dick Whittington from Friday, November 14 until Saturday 22.
It will be staged at Chaddesley Corbett Village Hall and will star popular pub landlord Rupert Boden as the hilarious pantomime dame.
His role requires so many colourful costume changes he has his own backstage dresser. "I can just about manage the frocks, but the stilettos really have taken a bit of getting used to," said the landlord of The Talbot.
"They are definitely not what my customers are used to seeing me wearing behind the bar!"
There will be performances every day at 7.30pm apart from on November 16 and 17. There will also be two Saturday matinees at 2.30pm.
Tickets are available on 01562 777493.
