A DROITWICH Spa theatre is set to reveal the saucy secrets lurking behind Number Ten Downing Street, in a hilarious new comedy.
Pardon Me Prime Minister! begins a four-night run at the Norbury Theatre tonight (Wednesday) and audiences can look forward to an exciting mix of satire, scandal, and scantily clad women.
The Prime Minister, played by John Sears, and the ambitious Chancellor are a preparing a puritanical budget, which includes taxing leisure pursuits like gambling and nightclubs out of existence.
However, their best-laid plans are thrown into chaos with the appearance of a long-lost daughter, a gorgeous journalist, a lovesick secretary, a nagging wife and a man named Campbell.
Theatre-goers are guaranteed a rip-roaring night out and as a special bonus everyone will have the chance to win a bottle of Houses of Parliament Scotch whisky signed by Premier Tony Blair.
Spokeswoman for the Friar Street theatre, Margaret Burton, said: "Join us at the Norbury for a hysterical evening looking into the background of political life-with exposures and revelations of every type that can come to mind!"
Tickets are £6, available from the theatre's box office on 01905 770154 or during the day on 01905 795619. The show starts at 7.30pm.
