Thanks was given to Beverly Davenport for taking and arranging the flowers in WI house. A special collection for ACWW was taken.
Forms were given out, hoping that members would express the difficulties that take place when visiting hospitals.
The speaker for the afternoon was the local historian, Cora Weaver, telling us about the life of Edward Elgar who apparently lived in many different areas in Worcestershire. Muriel Ewing gave a warm vote of thanks. Pat Hollis read out a poem given to her by a friend and everyone found it very amusing. The afternoon rounded off with time to enjoy tea and biscuits.
