WERE you forced to give up your baby in the 1940s, 50s, or 60s?
I am looking for natural mothers and their children - now reunited - to take part in a major TV series about the history of unmarried mothers and their children in 20th Century Britain.
The illegitimate baby of a teenage daughter was sometimes passed off as her new baby brother or sister - but in a majority of cases, young women were pressurised by parents and adoption agencies into giving up their babies.
If you've had personal experiences like these, please write to me, Mary Parsons at Testimony Films, 12 Great George Street, Bristol, BS1 5RS or email: research@testimonyfilms.force9.co.uk
