NEW crime busting CCTV cameras are being installed in a vandal-hit Rubery subway.
Safety chiefs have scooped a Government grant for the underpass linking Gannow Road and New Road.
Bromsgrove District Council leader Dennis Norton said: "We will not tolerate bad behaviour. We are introducing new measures all the time to catch and bring the offenders to court. People should be able to live and work in the district without feeling threatened by yobs or vandals."
Bromsgrove Community Safety Partnership won the funding.
The town is only one of only two community safety partnerships out of 34 in the West Midlands area to win the full £24,000 award.
