ADVENTUROUS youngsters from a Droitwich school put their best foot forward to complete their Duke of Edinburgh bronze award this week.
Seven girls from Whitford Hall and Dodderhill School in Crutch Lane completed the four sections of the challenge to gain the prestigious award.
They managed to complete the service, skills, physical and expedition skills section with flying colours and are looking forward to moving onto their silver award.
The dedicated pupils received their awards at a presentation evening at the school on Monday, October 20.
They were congratulated by the Worcestershire County Council award scheme development officer, Jules Isaacs-Garfield.
The school's scheme co-ordinator Janet Lowe said : "We are very proud of all of the girls and some will look to do their silver award in the near future."
