CARNIVAL festivities are set to rock the town again next year thanks to the success of this summer's fun-packed event.
At its last meeting, the carnival association's executive committee agreed that following the re-launch of the Droitwich Spa Carnival in July the town should continue to host a summer event each year.
It is hoped a special committee will be formed within the Droitwich Spa Association for Retail, Tourism, and Services (DARTS), which will embrace all interested local individuals, associations and organisations.
Plans are already rolling into action for the 2004 week-long festival, which is due to run from July 5 to 10.
DARTS chairman Richard Brighton is now urging everyone who is interested in supporting "Festival 2004" to attend a meeting in St Richard's House on Friday, November 28.
"We hope to be able to make this event really special for the town but we need your support and encouragement to make it happen."
Interested Spa residents should attend the meeting at 6pm.
