Bretforton II 0, Hereford 3

DIVISION One high flyers Hereford put in a convincing performance to take the points from Saturday's fixture.

Only one goal separated the sides halfway through the game when Bretforton made the decision to retain their formation in an effort to try and snatch an equaliser.

The second half was action-packed but all the action was at the wrong end of the field for the home side as Hereford hit two more goals and also fluffed a penalty flick.

The visitors were then denied a fourth when a shot took a head high deflection off captain Marion Icke as she raised her stick in self-defence. The effort was disallowed and Hereford were left even more frustrated.

Tamsin Hannah was voted Bretforton's player of the match for a strong performance on the right wing.

The ball was sponsored by Avon Cross Nursery of Badsey.

Bretforton visit Gloucester this weekend hoping to take valuable points from a team currently lying at the foot of the table.
