THE theft of two digger buckets worth £300 is being investigated by Kidderminster Police.

The 4ft and 5ft buckets were stolen along with tools valued at £120 from Wolverley Road in Wolverley between 10.30am and 1.30pm on Monday.

The digger itself was not taken but the owner reported a man calling to the premises on Friday, November 7, to ask if it was for sale.

A police spokesman said it was concerning to think the items had been specifically targeted and warned householders and business owners to be on their guard.
