I HAVE been asked by a veteran RAF pilot of Bomber Command, now living in Ashbourne, Derbyshire, if I can help him trace Trevor Hancock, the only son of Fred Hancock, who owned Hancock's radio shop in Mill Street, Kidderminster, near to the Grand Cinema.
My friend, Neville Mottershead, worked in the radio shop before joining the RAF in the early days of the Second World War, and he thinks it is possible that Trevor Hancock may have, at some time, gone to Canada.
It is not known if he returned to his home town.
If anyone can offer any information about Trevor Hancock, or lend me a photograph of Hancock's radio shop for me to have copied, my friend Neville would be very grateful.
