Evesham Utd Ladies 4,
Bewdley 2
UNITED completed a league double over Sunday's visitors after falling behind in the first half.
In what was an evenly contested first half, Bewdley scored after 28 minutes with a fine strike from distance.
It took Evesham just five minutes to level matters when Nicky Bond played the ball in for Lisa Tustin to strike a shot that went in off the goalkeeper.
United started the second half in fine style as straight from the kick-off a fine move involving Emma Jenkinson and Bond allowed Charlotte Benson-Wilson to chip the ball forward for Tori Southern to head past the advancing keeper and run on and crash the ball into the net.
The Robins increased their lead on 53 minutes when Tustin threaded a fine pass through the defence for Bond to run on and stroke the ball into the net.
Benson-Wilson's shot was saved before Evesham increased their lead after 65 minutes. Southern received a pass from Bond and twisted past a defender before burying a shot into the corner.
With Evesham now well in control further chances came for Jenkinson and Southern before Tustin rattled the woodwork.
Nine minutes from time Bewdley reduced the deficit when an attempted clearance was hooked into the home net for an unfortunate own goal.
United are in league action again on Sunday when they visit Bredon (2pm).
