KIDDERMINSTER Carolians U-9s showed they are learning rapidly with a team man-of-the-match display in a 25-15 win over Hereford.
They did not lose any of the three 15-minute periods with Charlie Hopkirk, George Decothi, Jordan Hatch, Francesca Short and Steve Winter all scoring tries.
The U-12s lost 40-7 to Hereford, fielding different teams in each half, and gave a committed display with one try from William Short.
Marlpool Lane also hosted the North Midlands U-10s festival for 11 clubs, including the hosts, Hereford, Worcester, Moseley, Bromsgrove, Silhillians, Malvern, Stourbridge and Camp Hill.
Worcester won the main competition with an exciting final victory over Bromsgrove, while Stourbridge took the plate contest against KCs.
