HEREFORD United have sold 1,700 tickets for their Conference clash with Shrewsbury Town at Gay Meadow on Saturday week.
The Shrews are currently six points and two places behind fourth-placed Hereford but have two games in hand.
Meanwhile, Edgar Street boss Graham Turner will be without the suspended Michael Rose for the match. The defender is banned for one game for five bookings.
PERSHORE Rugby Club will come up against an Indian national side next month.
The Worcestershire club has been selected to provide the warm-up opposition for India on Sunday, December 14. The tourists also have clashes with Coventry three days later on and against a Leicester XI at Welford Road on the December 21.
India are one of the new members of the International Rugby Board and the tour is being undertaken in an attempt to raise the profile of rugby among Asian communities. India will be based in Pershore during their tour.
Pershore captain Andy Watson is expecting a tough game from the Indians.
"They play to a high standard and I think they narrowly lost out to Japan in qualifying for the Rugby World Cup," said Watson.
"We will probably play a President's XV because I'm not sure our first team will be good enough so we might be including a few special guest players."
