SEVEN hardy members travelled to Cranhill Farm on Sunday when they fished round nine of the Crown Inn sponsored League.

The bitterly cold weather prevented the larger fish from being caught. However, fishing peg four paid handsomely for Roy Thomson who finished with 3.7.0 - enough to win the match and take the lucky peg money.

In second place was Bill Scarrott (peg six) who landed 2.11.0 and in third place on the other side of the lake was Rita Barnett (1.0.0).

Members who have booked in this weekend are asked to be at Loxley for 7.45am on Sunday allowing the draw to be made at 8am.

Anyone unsure of directions should meet at the Little Chef at The Link Evesham at 7am.
