LITTLETON Aces are the early leaders of Division One but both Wyre Elite and Bengeworth Tigers remain unbeaten with games in hand.
Aces suffered their only reverse so far this season when narrowly losing 6-4 at Wyre Livewyres.
Geoff Woodward won his three singles and, together with Malcolm MacFarlane, took the doubles against Mark Dudley and Luke Moffat.
MacFarlane overcame Andrew Taylor and Moffat but lost to Dudley 11-7, 11-9, 8-11, 12-10. All three Aces beat Chas Lane to pick up two points.
Aces bounced back to form with a 7-3 victory over an under strength Bengeworth Blue who had Stan Owen playing up from Division Two.
Ken Baker, Luke Moffat and Mark Dudley won two singles each but all lost to Craig Norledge.
The Aces also came out on top of the Littleton derby beating clubmates Diamonds 6-4 with Baker and Dudley winning three singles each.
Second-placed Wyre Elite won the first six games against Bengeworth Red and went on to 7-3 with Matt Hartwell scoring a maximum.
Hartwell repeated the feat when the Elite got the better of clubmates Livewyres 7-3.
The Livewyres had previously defeated Bengeworth Red 7-3 despite Neil Wicks, Brian Haines and Geoff Collings all beating Chas Lane.
The Reds also went down 7-3 to clubmates Tigers for whom young Martin Brown beat both Geoff Collings and Ron Keyte.
Grahame Brown and Bob Price beat Andrew and Ernie Smith 11-9, 11-7, 4-11, 11-4 to help inflict a first defeat of the season on Kington Bulldogs.
All three Bulldogs had beaten Martin Brown but father Graham won his three singles and the doubles success gave the Tigers a 6-4 victory.
Norledge won three singles for Bengeworth Blue when they beat clubmates Red 6-4 their fifth consecutive defeat.
Lynda accounted for Mike Prior, John Mytton and Nor-ledge for Bengeworth Purple but they too went down to the Blues 6-4.
Paul Witts beat Reid when the Purple entertained Littleton Diamonds but she gained revenge over Jill Str-ide who beat her in last season's ladies singles final to help Purple win 7-3.
Evesham Rowing Club won their first match of the season when they overcame Diam-onds 6-4 with Chris Penny taking all three singles.
