Evesham and District Airgun League
THE leading pair are separated by a single point after wins for leaders Offenham RBL and closest rivals Lygon Arms.
Ady Lewis hit 49 for the former in a 21-point success at home to Bengeworth SSC, while Keith Harris was the Lygon's top marksman in a narrow win at Badsey Rec.
The top shot in what proved a tight contest was Badsey's Ashley Green who fired a maximum as his side lost by seven points.
The margin was even closer at Bidford RBL where the hosts recorded a second successive win. John Richards hit 48 for the home side, while Rodger, Barry and Ian Davies all hit 46 for the visitors.
Jackie Laming was the second to record a score of 50 as her efforts helped Stanton Club see off the brave challenge of hosts Broadway FC.
Bob Pitcher missed out on a maximum by single shot as his side overcame Nomads by nine shots. Andrew Print posted 48 for the visitors.
