SANTA is preparing to stock up his sleigh for the festive season, but before he does he is poised to drop a few festive lines and help a Worcester charity.
For a small fee of £2 a letter (or three for £5) the Appeals Team elves at St Richard's Hospice will contact Father Christmas on your behalf.
Anyone contributing will receive a personalised letter from Santa in a matching envelope.
Last year, St Richard's raised £500 and this year is hoping, with the help of Evening News readers, to double that total.
Tricia Cavell, manager of community funding said she hoped many would welcome the chance to hear from Santa.
"Last year, the Appeals Team had great fun helping Santa with his letters. We even had one request to send a letter to a 35-year-old guy who had had a letter from Santa before," she said.
Anyone wishing to know more can pop into any of St Richard's Hospice shops in Worcester, Malvern, Pershore, Droitwich, Evesham and Upton-on-Severn for a leaflet, or call 01905 763963.
