A BUILDER has scooped two top awards in a scheme to recognise the quality of construction and level of customer care, given by Wychavon builders and developers.
New houses built by Roland Jones (seen above) at Bishampton and Charlton made the firm a double winner in the "new build dwellings up to five plots" category.
The owners of Roseberry Topping, Bishampton and Mulberry Cottage, Cherry Orchard, Charlton, had both nominated Roland Jones Homes for the award.
More than 60 nominations were received for Wychavon District Council's Built in Quality awards this year.
"We were delighted that so many residents took the time to recognise these quality buildings, which have obviously impressed them in some way," said building consultancy manager Steve Evans.
The other winners were D J Sinclair Builders, for a new build extension at 1 Beach Close, Evesham; Bloor Homes for new build dwellings on land off Stoke Road, Wychbold; David Smallcombe for a conversion at The Red House, Bredon and Lansdowne Rodway for a development at Plot 21, Keytec Business Park, Pershore - industrial and commercial category.
