UPTON curate Tricia Allsop is saying farewell to the parish after three years.
Rev Allsop leaves at the end of the month to be priest-in-charge at Finstall, near Bromsgrove.
Originally from Stourbridge, she was ordained in 2000 and her first post was at Upton.
Rev Allsop said she had enjoyed her time in the parish and praised the rector, Rev Chris Hardwick, who supervised her through her training.
She said: "People have been so kind and I have made me very welcome. It's been an interesting time, partly because I came from an urban situation and also because we work with six churches. It's going to be quite a wrench leaving."
A benefice eucharist will be held on November 30, to mark her last Sunday. This will be followed by a benefice lunch.
