VOLUNTEERS who help housebound people in Malvern to enjoy books will be honoured at a ceremony tomorrow (Saturday).
Malvern Library has run a service delivering books to the housebound for more than 30 years.
Volunteers Sheila Spencer and Geoff Toft, who have helped out for 12 years, will be presented with long-service certificates at a ceremony in the library at 3pm.
The awards will be presented by Worcestershire county councillor Jennette Davy, who as a WRVS organiser was involved in setting up the service.
The library currently delivers books and tapes to around 46 Malvern people and is hoping to increase this number. For more information, contact Catherine Lees on 01684 561223.
