CO-driver Michael Park, from Much Marcle, was an early retirement on the Wales Rally GB.
The 37-year-old Hereford & Worcestershire co-driver partnering Estonian Markko Martin in a 'factory' 2003 Ford Focus WRC, retired from third place before the start of fourth stage.
Martin and Park had finished second in the same event last year but was forced out of the 14th and final round of the FIA World Rally Championship with mechanical problems.
Ford BP drivers Markko Mrtin and Michael Park ended the year having won the most speed tests.
The 27-year-old
Estonian driver won 52 special stages, two more than closest rival Marcus Grnholm.
