A LEADING rural business organisation has elected a new president.
The Country Land and Business Association (CLA) has elected Mark Hudson, who is an organic dairy farmer from the Vale of Clwyd in Denbighshire, North Wales, and only the second Welsh member to become national President.
He succeeds Sir Edward Greenwell.
Mr Hudson's presidency of the CLA - which has about 1,700 members in Herefordshire and Worcestershire - will run for a year with possible re-election for a further year.
