ANDY Keast believes James Brown is now showing the best form of his Worcester Rugby Club career.
The fly half has been outstanding since his re-emergence in the side and despite the early impact of Tommy Hayes has held on to the number 10 shirt.
"James Brown is one of the best distributors in the country," said Sixways coach Keast.
"Other than Jonny Wilkinson and Charlie Hodgson I don't think there's a fly half who passes the ball as well.
"We are very, very lucky that we have so much quality at 10 this season with Tommy Hayes also at the club.
"Tommy showed against Henley that, wherever you play him, he's a class act.
"Tommy's a team man and he is happy to do a job at centre. That's a professional approach.
"James is not only a great passer, however, his ability to read the game is top class.
"He really controls the game and we've already seen this season that Tommy is also a great manager of the game."
Hayes, however, will continue to kick the goals today at Plymouth Albion.
Brown is noted for his outstanding percentage rate but Hayes has been a consistent performer with the boot recently.
"You look at the last two games and Tommy's kicked seven from nine and six from eight," added Keast.
"As long as he continues like that, he can continue to kick the goals!
"James knows that. We know he's a quality kicker but Tommy is the man with the job at the moment and he's more than doing the job.
"As a coach, you just want someone to kick the goals. You don't really care who is doing it as long as they are going over!"
