MALVERN'S attentions now turn to Tuesday night (7.45pm), when they visit bottom-placed Cosely Town in another league fixture.
With no other Express and Star West Midlands League Premier Division games taking place during the week, Town have a chance to extend their lead to eight points against a side hammered 7-0 at Ledbury on Saturday.
Town general manager Richard Anson said: "Obviously there is a massive incentive for us to get a result at Cosely, but we are not taking the game lightly.
"Cosely might be struggling and they had a bad result last weekend, but sometimes when you get into that situation, you simply cannot allow it to continue and we need to make sure that we don't get caught on the rebound"," he said.
Town boss Neil Hunt has no injury worries and Phil Haines is added to the squad having missed Saturday's last gasp success at home to Lye Town
Hunt will select from: Alden, Roberts (P), Williams, Chalmers, Cannon, Fryer, Clayton, Walker, Halion, Baldwin, Morris, Owen, Roberts (D), Willetts, Hooper, Cox and Haines.
Under 18s
ALSO on Tuesday night the Town U18s entertain Newport County in the first round of the Herefordshire 'Giantkilliers' Cup.
This game kick off at 7.30pm and replaces the previously scheduled league fixture at home to Gloucester City.
