RESIDENTS are being told to be on their guard after six reports of two men acting suspiciously in the north of the county were made in one night.
In the first incident two men called at a woman's house in Chaddesley Corbett claiming to have trapped three loose sheep in her drive.
The woman refused to go with them and they left driving off in a bright red hatch back car.
Both men were described as white, in their mid 30s, 5ft 4ins tall and stocky.
The first man was wearing a black woolly hat, a black fleece top and tracksuit trousers.
The second man had short crew-cut hair, wore navy blue clothes with two gold chains around his neck.
This happened at 4.30pm on Friday, November 14.
At 6pm the same night two men matching the description were spotted in the garden of a house in Belbroughton. When the owner of house challenged them they became abusive and left.
At 7.25pm two men called at a woman's house off Bewdley Road, Kidderminster claiming to be from the water board.
The woman became suspicious when she caught one of the men in her bedroom and they ran off as she called for help.
They are described as white, one aged 30 to 35 and the other slightly older. The first man wore a bright orange jacket and a dark woolly hat. The second man had grey hair and wore a dark jacket.
Another woman living nearby reported she had cash and her mobile phone taken at the same time.
Police also received a report of a house in the same area being entered and searched.
At 8pm, two men with similar descriptions called at a house in Tenyson Way, Kidderminster claiming to be from the gas or water board.
The woman at the house became suspicious and the men left.
