CHOCOHOLICS enjoyed some samples and a talk about Thorntons confectionary at a special indulgence morning.
The Thorntons event was held at St John's Library by the Coffee Pot Club, a group which meets at the library twice a week for coffee mornings.
Two representatives from the famous chocolate makers, Glynis Shepherd and Julia Knight, attended this special event, which was held as part of the club's coffee morning.
Sweet-toothed visitors enjoyed a talk about the history of the chocolate company and were given the chance to sample a range of goodies.
"I talked about how the chocolates over the years had changed," said Mrs Shepherd, manager of Thorntons, The Shambles, Worcester.
"It all started in 1911.
"I gave a history of the company and talked about the fact that we are serving Thorntons cakes in supermarkets.
"It was a good turn out and the library said they had never seen so many people there."
The free event, took place at the library in Glebe Street, yesterday.
