BROMSGROVE Hockey Club Men's Second XI threw away a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 at Kingswinford.
Bromsgrove started well and took the lead after good work down the right by Simon Clifton, creating an opening for Scott Reeves to score.
Soon after Ali Shaw scored from a miss-hit cross, which beat the goalkeeper at the near post.
That sparked Kingswinford into life and they pulled back two quick goals. Umpires were then needed to calm players down just before half time as tempers started to flare.
The second half was but Bromsgrove created the more clear cut openings.
Man of the match was Nigel Johns.
