BED-BLOCKING has been continuing for several years and all this time no one seems to try to do anything about it except moan.
If there were more and better financed residential homes the problem would soon disappear. It is all a matter of money.
Social Services say residential homes should be financed by the National Health Service. The National Health Service says they should be financed by the Social Services.
They have been arguing about the subject for a great many years without any result.
It makes me wonder why on earth they don't get their heads together and jointly finance them.
