I READ with alarm but not surprise about the funding of the Trading Standards operation concerning alcohol and weapons being sold to children underage.
I know a lot of people are against carrying an ID card and think it is taking people's liberty and freedom away but I think it would be a good thing.
We all had to carry one during the war, and if stopped by the police had to produce it, to prove you were English and who you were.
I know the Government has been discussing this and I hope the Bill will get through.
