CARING Catshill school children swapped their pens and pencils for sponges and soapsuds for a charity car wash.
Youngsters at Chadsgrove School for Physically Handicapped Children in Meadow Road washed 27 cars to raise cash for the Blue Cross Animal Adoption Centre. The car washes, which were held over a period of two weeks, were held as part of the pupils' keyskills working with others course. A total of £54 was raised for the Wildmoor Lane animal centre.
