THE feline trio's third album can be described as pointless pop but they must be doing something right to have stayed around for so long - on the basis of just a handful of hits.
The album starts off on a hopeful note with disco classic Ladies Night but rapidly takes a nosedive.
A couple of the tracks like Be With You and Somebody Like You wander close to Kylie's territory but fall spectacularly short.
If You Come To Me is more like what we've come to expect from Atomic Kitten as it sounds very much like their previous hits but Don't Go Breaking My Heart sounds quite sophisticated and doesn't actually bear the stamp of a traditional kitten tune.
Every upbeat track seems to be drowned in disco beats but these are better than the boring ballads like Nothing In The World and Always Be My Baby.
And to top it off, the kittens also felt the need to part with some cringeworthy statements through their lyrics, such as 'I know it's hard when you're feeling down to lift your feet up off the ground' which only add to the album's pointlessness.
For those who haven't forgiven Atomic Kitten for their cover of Blondie's The Tide Is High, give this album a miss.
