BARNT Green A and Carter Retail A played out a 5-5 draw in the latest round of Bromsgrove and Redditch Table Tennis League matches.
The two sides could not be separated in the best division one match of the week. Pat McCabe was the star of the night, winning his three games for Barnt Green with Mark Cornish and Ian Scott getting one each. Carter's Mick Kendall and Gary Jackson both won two and then teamed up to win the doubles for the draw.
Elsewhere, Droitwich A beat SPSP 8-2 and Lickey Monarchs saw of West Midland Phones A by the same score.
The Phones B team also went down 7-3 at Barnt Green B while Droitwich Spa B were thrashed 10-0 by Astwood Bank.
In division two Studley Road Nomads were without captain Bernie Leech and went down 7-3 at home to Carter Retail B.
The division's best game was between Hillcrest and Studley Road Terriers with the former winning 6-4. Alan McLouchlan won all his three singles for Hillcrest while Graeme Farrall got two wins and joined McLouchlan to win the doubles for victory. Captain Peter Hartles won twice for the losers.
Meanwhile, Lickey Rocs lost 8-2 at home to Barnt Green C and Barnt Green Hornets whitewashed Droitwich C 10-0. Studley Road Bulldogs went down 9-1 to West Midlands Phones C.
