THE town's Tory group has been taking stock after last month's resignation of its leader and vice-leader from the top two jobs on Redditch Council.
Gavin Smithers and Pat Wilson claimed they were being "undermined" by Labour and the Liberal Democrats.
Following a group meeting, they have decided to forge ahead with new ideas, including taking specific responsibilities for areas of policy.
Mr Smithers and Mrs Wilson will continue as group leader and deputy leader, while party chairman will be Councillor Jack Field and party whip will be Councillor Brandon Clayton.
Other councillors will take responsibility for researching and developing policies on issues such as transport, crime, equalities and leisure.
