ENGLAND'S shot at World Cup rugby history against Australia this Saturday has given Droitwich Spa RFC First XV the chance to make history themselves.
Spa will play their first ever match under floodlights this Friday so fans can savour the England-Australia rugby final on television at the Glyn Mitchell Memorial Ground the next day.
Ledbury are the visitors for this historic Midlands Three West (South) match, originally due to take place this Saturday afternoon, and kick-off is at 7.30pm.
Director of rugby Julian Bailey, whose side did not play last weekend, said: "The lads are really looking forward to it. From past experience it gives an edge of excitement.
"The lads realise the whole of England on Saturday is going to be focused on the final. They are excited because of that match but also because we have brought our match forward and are out to put in a good performance so the Saturday is even more enjoyable."
