SPEAKER at the November meeting was Jim Clarke who gave a very interesting talk and slide show on the subject of an English country garden.
An excellent photographer, his talk covered not only plants and flowers but all the different kinds of wildlife found in the garden, including several different species of birds and butterflies together with frogs, toads and lizards, which live in his pond.
The next meeting will be the Christmas party in December and the first meeting of the New Year will be on January 7 when Mr & Mrs Ruffel will give a talk entitled Focus on Gardens.
Meetings are held at the Village Hall, Alcester Road, on the first Wednesday of every month at 7.30pm.
