PARENTS, staff and governors came together at Studley High School on Thursday to mark the efforts of pupils who took their GCSEs this year.
Those at the annual awards evening welcomed vice-chairman of governors and speaker Geraldine Quinney, who is celebrating her 20th year as a governor.
A report was given by head girl Sian Edwards and head boy Ross Heath, who highlighted the school's second best GCSE results ever with 62 per cent A*-C grades being achieved and the highest ever overall points score.
The sports report was by deputy head girl Blair Ward and deputy head boy Adam Matthews and the extra-curricular report by deputies Jessica Blaynee and Matthew Ashworth
