AFTER a gap of five years, the old Studley Mop is to make a revival on Friday, December 12.
Part of High Street and Marble Alley will be closed off from 6-9pm for the big night, which will have a Christmas theme.
Organiser Sally Macreavy, who helped create the popular Studley Jubbley events, said she was hoping for plenty of stalls and carol singing on the streets.
Mrs Macreavy said: "Some of the shops have agreed to stay open and we will also be hosting Alcester Victoria Silver Band and serving mulled wine from the village hall.
"This is the first time in five years it's been done but hopefully we are going to make it an annual event and build on it in years to come."
She added: "It will just be a nice little event before Christmas."
After things wind down at 9pm, a rap and DJ night will be held in the youth club in High Street.
Meanwhile, St Mary's Catholic School and St Mary's Church will be holding their annual Christmas Bizarre at the Pool Road school on Saturday, November 29, from 1.30-4pm.
There will be plenty of entertainment, including stalls, games, food and even a car wash.
